Blending the house and the perimeter of the garden with its surroundings is an effective way of preserving a sense of seclusion. The Pod House merges into the woodland with the sweeping branches of the large trees adding nature’s contribution to the architecture of the house. The planting favours shades of green. The great appeal of this garden style is that the planting at the entrance is formal with its structural forms of topiary, whilst the meandering pathways lead to an informal woodland landscape. The woodland creates a romantic setting with a glorious mix of textures and shades of green.
